2011 is almost over! And that means all my girlfriends are now 20 years old! WAHAHAHA. This year, our birthday presents were super standard cause we're just too lazy to think. They're all photoframes!!

Yes I told you we're lazy to think.

And lazy to think nevermind, who's LAZIER?! CAMILIA, XIURONG AND AMELIA!!!!!! Why?!?! Because all the frames were made by the very extremely hardworking, creative and beautiful PHOTOFRAME COMMITTEE!!!!!!!

The committee consists of Neh, Teir and me!!!!!
YES, SEE OUR SERIOUS FACES!!!!!! WAHOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

This is our motto:

HAHAHAHAHAA. It might seem easy to make a frame, but it's actually an extremely complex process!!!

1. Go Ikea buy frames
2. Look through ALLL your photos and choose those with birthday girl
3. Print photos
4. Meet up w committee
5. Cut, rearrange photos
6. Improve (with scrapbooking stuff, magazine cuttings, etc)
7. Paste

I'm always tasked with No. 2 and 3, and it sucks!!! Cause I keep looking and printing the same photos again and again! And Ikea is so far!

Here's Step 5, cutting and rearranging the photos. It's important and we always have a very serious time moving the photos around!

Here step 6, improving with pretty stuff. We were cutting out spongebob stuff that Camilia loves. Nehneh printed those from her office printer HAHAHAHAH.

Last step, PASTE. HAAHA Teri is always the one doing this step. Nehneh and I will just nua! It's the most tedious and meticulous step. I'm too 粗心大意 to do this!

AND I MUST INCLUDE!! J's always there when we make the frames HAAHHAHAHA. He should be part of the committee hor?

And since everyone's birthdays over, let us have a photoframe walkthrough!

Amelia's

HAHAHAHA this is one of the ugliest frames we have ever made, because it's our first, and we were extremely inexperienced. We didn't even bring glue!!

Mine

Here's mine, didn't take a clear photo of it (oops). It's made by Teri and Neh!! Totally didn't expect them to make one for me! HAHA I guess that's where the tradition started?

Neh's

This one was ultra last minute because all of us were busy! Xiurong was there though, but she just stood around watching us rearrange and stuff!!!!!!!! At least J was helping me cut HAHA.

Neh and I met up to make this! Totally don't have any memory of it though. But it's pretty right!! HAHAHAHA J was there too HAHAHAHAHAHAAH.

And finally, our final two, and also our best work because of all those experience we had, and because of my beautiful scrapbooking paper and Neh's office printer!!

Today's page was so hard!!! Initial plan was to pick up all the dropped hair on the floor or from my hair after blowdrying it. WAHAHAHA failed terribly!! The hair were all so loose, here and there. I ended up cutting my own hair LOL.

I haven't blogged since forever! And well, I guess it's time for an update of my life, of what has happened in this past 2 months of hiatus.

I've been really extremely busy with school!!!

Photos koped off Facebook cause I'm too lazy to even upload anything.

First thing, the other day I attended my hall's DnD! The theme was "A Lot Like Fame", so my friends and I decided to dress up as famous people! So I dressed as... BARBARELLA. HAHAHAHHAA what the shit. I am a joke.

Cannon as Man In Black 1, Shiwei as Photographer (w/o camera LOL), Michael as Harry Potter, Yaofeng as King of Gamblers, Soon as Superman, Edwin as Man in Black 2.

HAHAHHAA I had a lot of fun surprisingly! Much more fun than the DnD last year, partially because last year I spent half the time being scared, and the other half the time preparing for my performance. :(

Second thing, I did a fantastic AED201 Presentation with the question "What It Means To Be a Teacher", and I think my group did great! I had a lot a lot of fun with my group and it's kinda the first time I experienced how fun a project can be. Seriously the previous groups I was in were all.. not the most enthusiastic people around.

Anyway project in NIE is like this.. we are given like around 100 minutes to create a lesson which consists of presentation by the presenting group, followed by discussion for the "students" in class, and then we gotta wrap up. Kinda like a mini "Workshop" with a lesson objective. We gotta write our lesson plan and provide the lesson materials.

Presentation Day!! That's the vanguard sheet our class wrote on for their discussion.

I'm actually pretty proud of the video cause I was the editor! Wahahahhaa. J was the cameraman yay! <3 I kinda think I did a pretty good job editing and syncing the music with the steps. :D

Third, BIG thing happened to me in school! I kinda can't believe it actually...

I actually joined the school club's Exco. Serious.

HAHAAHAHHAA seriously I kinda can't believe myself cause I'm not the type who'd join this kinda things. But the president approached me a few times and in the end I relented. My post in the club is the IT & Media Officer, and I'm in charge of maintaining the website, as well as take photos, both of which are what I like doing, so why not? I get to earn 9 CCA points in the process and get hall next year! :D

I'm still quite happy with the opportunities I have so far. I'm actually pretty excited to take photos once again! Haven't been shooting at all since... the end of the soccer season in J2? Hahaha but the sucky thing is, I feel so handicapped without the equipments from Photog. Can't borrow telephoto lens when I want. And I'm really sad that I didn't pay attention during the 'External Flash course' during photog camp! Now I wanna buy an external flash but don't know how to use?!!!!

Oh no.

But it's okay, I'm still looking forward to shooting!
Oh and I had this grand idea of revamping the website. Total regret. Gosh now I don't know how much time I'm gonna spend coding the website and installing a content management system for it. Why I anyhow think of such ideas.

I'm settling well in school. Had a really great time at my hall's FOC as a programmer, knowing so many people and having so much fun. Also having a great time in hall with my boyfriend!

OMG this is the yummiest smoothie I've ever drank. Strawberry mango! I'm craving for it now! It's so expensive, but it's totally worth it!~

Fiery fish and chips that's kinda fresh and really yummy.

My seafood penne wrapped in parchment paper. I thought it was a really huge serving but the middle part (can't see from here) is actually all paper. Tsk! Cheat my feelings. But okay lah quite full, and really yummy! The sauce is like stuck in the hollow part of the penne! When you bite it everything pew out. Yumz!

Favourite Lake Chocolate aka goreng pisang drenched in chocolate sauce. I swear the strawberry is just there to make the dish look prettier, cause it's really sour and I kinda hate it!

No photos!! But I was super hesitant about going up on it!! I was sooo scared!! But in the end my sister pulled me along! My mum was like "SCARED WHAT?!" and J was super encouraging! Hehehehe in the end I forced myself to go up, even though halfway through I nearly walked out! When we were about to get on the ride I felt like crying!!!!

But OMG it was damn fun!!!!!!

I didn't get up the Cylon one! No regrets though, even though I have people like Jimama and Kenneth saying I waste money! And my sis, J and mum all think that the Cylon one wasn't as scary as the Human one, it just looks scarier! HAHA I don't know! I really don't mind going on it if the wait time's 1 min. But waiting 30 mins is just agonizing!!!!!

Last pic of the day!! :) Went to watch Shrek 4D, and it was kinda fun!! HAHA just relaxing, plus the wait time was just 5 mins!! Super glad we didn't queue in the afternoon when it was 45 mins!!

Hehehee after that was fireworks at 9pm! It was really great watching such beautiful fireworks after a long, tiring but fun day w my loved ones!! ♥♥♥ It felt especially great w J beside me hehe!

Hello world!!!!! I'm so bored I'm actually blogging regularly!!!! Hahahahhaa. I need to meet more people to have tea. No more shopping. I'm swearing off shopping till.. I get my bonus in July. :P

Anyway the other day I went out w Xiuwen!! Hehehahha she's one of my only close friends in NIE! ♥♥♥ Hehe so damn glad to find someone as bimbotic as me to be my friend HAHAHHAHAHHA. Anyway I always don't have pictures of her (I think I posted her pics only once) cause WE NEVER CAMWHORE leh!!!! So we finally did hehehehhee.

Anyway bought this tribal looking necklace, as well as wasted money on the blue birdie necklace thing LOL it looks nice on my hair, not on my neck! And a printed skirt!! Hooray!

OMG I swear the food is the best and my stomach is like crying for it now. Shhh stomach keep quiet let you eat on Thursday k!

Xiu and I ordered the Bacon and Egg burger! I got garlic fries, and she got curry fries. Both are nice!! The service was also damn good! HAHAHA I asked the guy for recommendation for fries then he just stun and paused for a good 10s before telling me ORIGINAL. HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAH.

Anyway we didn't manage to finish our food! And I need to remind everyone that we're quite big eaters!! Hahahaha so I think if two girls go maybe just order 1 meal + 1 burger ala carte it should be sufficient? Plus eat the fries first it's not nice when cold!

DIY: Sleeves to Sleeveless

This is not exactly a DIY Teach You How To, more like a DIY Idea! :D

Got this top cheap from some shop but the sleeves were too tight rolled up, and too hot rolled down. So off they go!

Materials
- Sewing kit
- Blouse for cutting

1. Snip off sleeves

This is said shirt.

First just cut a hole in the middle of the sleeves and start snipping it off. Try not to "stick" the sleeves together and snip off at once cause you might cut wrongly.

Try to cut as close as possible to the seam of the fabric. (see below)

2. Fold and Sew

Fold the exposed seam in, and then start sewing, to conceal it.

My super ugly stitch!!! But I was too lazy to care! Was also in a rush!

3. Cut Loose Strings
Cut away any loose strings to make it neat.

End product!!

Cheap way to recycle clothes! :) Also great for this stupid weather~

Hello world! It's total eclipse today with some red moon I've no idea, so my sister and I are singing Total Eclipse of the Heart HAHAHHAAHHA! Zi high at 4am!!

Oh and there was this family of 4 sitting beside us who was using the same voucher. The father made a big fuss out of a few dollars of GST that had to be charged, but was not printed in the terms & conditions. Come on the meal's so cheap with the voucher already, just let it go? He even said he wanna sue the restaurant. Mad. Too lazy to type shall leave it to another day.

The place was nice, but the food wasn't that good. Come on it's holidays!!

HAHHAHAHA suddenly realize we always sit beside weird people when we go eat. The other day we went HK cafe for supper with his childhood friend Raymund and we saw NICOLE SEAH!! We were deciding whether to sit inside or outside and ended up choosing the latter. Shortly after that Nicole Seah came and went INSIDE!! If we sat inside we'd be sitting beside her!!!!

Anyway the food sucked, but I enjoyed myself!! The next time must go eat icecream at Tom's Palette it's yummy!!!!!!

Hello world!! I've been meeting my friends and spending time with my family and boyf I'm such a happy girl!! The other day I met Kuanzy and also my Nua Club!! ♥

Nothing much, went shopping with Kuanzy at Haji Lane, the Land of Overpriced Nonsense, as well as Bugis Street, the Land of Cheap & Good Stuff if You DIG. Hehehehe was very very satisfied with my purchases from the latter. I love Bugis St!!!! ♥

In the end it was closed so we went to Shaw Towers for Ah Loy Thai!

The food is super cheap & gooood!!! But the service really really sucks to the max I was so angry with the annoying woman!! I was sooo angry, if I haven't paid already I would've walked out. It was THAT bad! Ohwell.

She is siao. She just suddenly say "I wanna cut hair", and she googled "good salon at shaw towers" then went to cut. LOL.

After cutting hair we went to Tom Palette's for icecream!! It's $11 for one tub! We ordered 2 flavours in one tub, Salty Caramel Cheesecake and Rum & Raisins. Both taste SOOOOO GOOOOOD!!!

It's also located at Shaw Towers! HAHAHAHA we had a Shaw Towers outing! It's really good I'd definitely go back again!! :D 5 stars!

Lunch w J + NSP Rally
After 5 months of J working at RBS, I finally went to meet him for lunch!!!! WAHAHHAAHAHAHA such a great girlfriend I am! :P :P

See I go lunch with him he so happy WAHAHAHAHAH. ♥ ♥

We went to this very nice tomyam place to have lunch. But because his girlfriend me is a noob, I ate something that's un-spicy.

Anyway after that I went to shop shop while he went back to work!! And I bought a super nice maxi dress and a really nice retro looking shorts! Can't wait to wear it out and take tons of pictures!!! At night we wanted to watch NSP rally, but we were very nua and my legs were sore from shopping, plus it rained so the field muddy, so we went to catch a movie! Hahahahah but after the movie we still went to the rally CAUSE WE GIAN.

J's a huge fan of cars, so of course must watch Fast & Furious 5! HAHAHAHA in the afternoon Teri and I were whatsapping and I found out that she too was going to watch Fast 5, and the tickets she booked was 2 seats infront of ours! Hehe so coincidental!

The other day we went to celebrate Teri Jimama Yap's birthday!! It was finally an all-girls outing instead of the recent "Bring Your Boyfriends along"! Heheheh I actually prefer all girls outing more cause can bitch more HAHAHAHAHA.

Anyway as usual the Birthday Frame Making Crew (consists of Neh, Teir, me) met earlier to make the frame! This time it's Neh and me only cause DUH? It's TERI'S BIRTHDAY? (zi high) But J helped a bit hehe.

DIY: Colorful Leopard Print Nails

Studying has really screwed up my body clock!! :( I sleep at 6am and wake up at 3pm everyday, how is that normal. Tonight I'd try to sleep earlier and wake up earlier. :( Need to stop wasting my days away like that!!!

Anyway painted new nails the other day that I loved a lot! Took some photos so shall just blog them!!

Step by step:

1. Base

Painted it white. You can actually paint it any color.

2. Dots

I painted colorful dots! As always, change it to any color choice.

For two colored leopard prints, some color combi I can think of:

- Light pink base with hot pink spots
- Yellow base with orange spots
- Light pink base with green spots

3. Outline

The most defining step, which is also really easy! Just go YouTube and search "How to draw leopard print nails".

Some examples:

It looks weird on its own, but...

Add them all together and it'd really look like leopard prints!

I really am too bored. No goal in life now at all.

Moving Back!
My last paper was on 25 April, but after the paper I didn't feel the exam mood at all cause the thought of all the packing really scares me! Here's why...

My room was beyond dusty - it was a DUST HOUSE. Every breath I take I felt like my lungs were about to explode. Every time I inhale I sneeze!!

Anyway I wear tank top and denim shorts to school everyday. Hahahaha when the Nooze talked about the auntie who goes around caning people who wear inappropriately to school they probably meant me! But!!! Look at my clothes! Not like I don't have:

DIY: iPhone Cover!

Hi world!! I'm so excited!!!!!! Hehehe today I DIY-ed my own iPhone cover! Planned to DIY for a really long time but didn't have the time to cause of exams + no inspiration! But exams are over, so here I am!!

Below is how I did my cover, which I printed!

Materials:
- Transparent iPhone cover (bought $5 from Pasar Malam)
- Paper and pen
- Printer?
- Scissors

Here's the transparent cover I bought, with a draft I drew!! Hehe.

1. Design
I saw a Marvel/DC comics decal at some handphone shop and liked it a lot, so I got my inspiration from there!

Drew my own version of "Juperman" and "Sharderwoman" hehehaha! J and I! :D
Some of the lines are wrong, but I'm gonna correct it in Photoshop later.

2. Photoshop
Scanned it into my computer, and..

Filled in the colors! How to color is another tutorial in itself! But I'm not sure if I'm doing it the right way cause it was all self-taught, but who cares, whatever works right!

I also found a page of marvel comics online, so what I did was "cut out" two frames of comics to fit in my drawing!

Did some Photoshop, added some speech bubbles!

3. PRINT!
Printed it out. The size I kinda tikam from the draft I did!
Actual dimensions for iPhone 3GS: 6cm x 11cm! I got it from trial and error!

See the number of times I printed it!

After fitting it, I use a black pen to draw a hole for the camera.

Cut it out! Also, I cut rounded edges cause it looks better in 3GS!

4. And you're done!!

Oops! Bubu is actually our pet name. Kena exposed.

Anyway it can be modified. Draw your own design/ cut from somewhere, fanciful paper, etc. The end effect looks pretty nice, even when I just drew w paper and pen! I think it's cause of the transparent cover, which will make it shiny! Cannot do scrapbooking though cause the paper will have to be thin if not cannot close properly.

I love my cover!! Made one for J too, and he loves it!!!!! HEHEHEHHE so happy! I love customizing my own stuff!

Hi world!!!! Me so bored I don't feel like studying at all. -___- That explains the amount of entries oops.

Last week I stayed in hall over the weekends to study! It was really emo and sad I don't know how people do it. Luckily J came over to accompany me!! Hehehe at 1pm when it was raining outside and I was sleeping he called me and ask if I'd like breakfast. I said okay!

And he appeared at my door with yummy delicious hot breakfast!!!! He cooked it in the pantry!! All while I was sleeping! He brought/bought pots and plates and utensils and ingredients!!! ♥♥♥

To all those girls who say I spoil market cause I cooked steak for him, now you can ASK YOUR BOYFRIENDS TO MAKE YOU BREAKFAST! WAHAHAHHAHAHAHA. *hinthintYiruihinthint*

Happy me!!!!!!! But just woke up my eyes look so swollen. And dark circles.. Really cannot sleep at 6am leh.

And there was teabreak! Egg bread + sausage + black pepper cheeeeese!!

I'm currently on the second day of rest after my crazy Number Theory, Organic Chem and Periodic Table exams! It's a little spoiler cause I'm enjoying every moment but I have to study again for the next three days cause on Monday I'd be taking my Finite Mathematics paper. But it's okay because after that...

I WOULD HAVE COMPLETED YEAR 1!!!

OMG so fast right I'm gonna be in Year 2 coming August and then my baby will be joining me in NTU and we'd go to school together hehe hopefully I'd get hall!! Hello to breakfast in bed and supper at 3am and studying together!

Anyway yesterday after my paper I went to meet him to watch movieeeeee!!!!! And I was feeling extra excited and hiao that day cause it's been soooo long since I last dolled up and went out!!!! OMG deprived is me.

It's funny how the number of blog post I write is proportional to the amount of work/tests I have. Guess when I blog it's always about happy times and it serves as an outlet for me to vent and feel happier? GAHHH I HATE SCHOOOL.

Anyway the other time I went sponging crazy. Haha.

Anyway, just apply all onto the sponge! Here's the tutorial.

Just keep doing it until the color becomes solid, then add sparkly polish! If not not nice one.

I hate schoool. :( Taking a break from studying now! I've one consolidation test and one mock exam on Monday and Wednesday respectively, and an essay draft 1 which will most probably be my final draft since I'm lazy. :( Totally no time for myself. Exams from 15Apr-25Apr can't wait!!

Last Sunday J and I went to Sentosa!! It was supposed to be his pre-Birthday celebration cause on his actual birthday I have school! It was quite a disaster cause the weather was bad!!!! :( :( I was damn sad.

HAHAHA but it's okay we did silly things like this and it was still fun!

Holala world!! I'm feeling so nua and lethargic and I really don't feel like doing anything constructive at all. Yawn.. I am so not looking forward to March/April! okay anyway back to the topic. My brother's enlistment! He enlisted on 9th February! It's gonna be a month soon! So fast!

At Pasir Ris waiting for the bus! We kept asking if he was nervous and he said that he got no feeling. PROUD MUCH?

On the bus. Made the photo black and white to make it emo HAHAHAHAHA. But he wasnt emo at all he was sleeping?

Ferry terminal!

We boarded the ferry and I was feeling so excited/scared for him! But once again he say no feeling. Since he's like super sporty and fit, then okay lor he win lor. I'm a weak person who don't play sports so I scared. <- that's what my family says. They damn bad.

We were like woo-ing and wah-ing at everything when all of a sudden they separated the enlistees and family. WAHHHHH so fast?!

Can see the boys (HAHA must say boys cause army is where boys become MEN!) like a bit scared at this point. I guess it's cause it's so sudden! Like suddenly separate!

We took a bus to my brother's school. Hmmm. I was quite emo on the bus HAHA and I felt like crying!!!

We were brought to this place to eat and do nothing, then again to this auditorium.

Do you ever feel like you're in the wrong place in life? Like you should be anywhere else but here, thinking about something else and not school. Not the exams. Not your GPA. Like you should be having fun and not feeling guilty because you slept too much.

We only have one life. Why must humans make it so hard for ourselves and for others. I wanna fast forward my life.

Anyway, I'm finally blogging about CNY! And I realize that there's still many things last year that I've yet to blog about, like my PERHENTIAN TRIP. Oh gosh I'm a noob.

Day One

HI CATERPILLAR!!!! :) I remember when he was born like 5 years ago I was in Sec 3 and Kenneth say he look like caterpillar HAHA. Now he's like so big?! And he knows how to call me Da jie already!! Hehehhee.

Girlgirl and I. WAHAHAHHA see see dimple!! Me me my cheek!

Yukyan! She also another one. I feel soooo old during family gatherings, especially when everyone calls me da jie! :< But it's sad to still be a kid in a family full of teenagers and adults! Nobody wanna bring them to play downstairs cause all just nua.

Oh and after that I went to watch Black Swan w J. OMG mind-blown. It's a really great film I recommend everyone to go watch!! And I also think it's stupid how a lot of websites focus on the lesbian aspect of the film. Come on get over it, focus on the big picture! The film is great, give it credit!

After the movie it was 1am! Since J sent me back, my mama asked him to come bai nian and we ate steamboat again! Yes bai nian at 1am! We so modern!!!

Day Two
Day Two as usual we went to visit all my cousins who live in Punggol! And also have steamboat at Yirui's house! It's the best steamboat ever and the highlight of CNY! I can't believe I didn't take a picture.

Shihui-jiejie's house! I still can't call her Eunice. Like if I see her in school I'd totally shout Shihui-jiejie and not Eunice? HAHAHAHAHHA.

My dad and the baby! Okay not baby lah 5 year old already. But he's the baby of the family!

Anyway we didnt really do anything much that day just manicure! And I also met Yirui's boyfriend Weicheng! Haha funny guy!

When we went home we finally finally gambled. Can you believe it! CNY Day 1 and 2 we didn't gamble at all, how boring! CNY is rly getting boring.

Below is my Excitement for CNY-vs-Age curve.

- When you're a kid, CNY means MONEY! Even a $4 angbao fascinates you to no end because $10 is like damn big to you! Can buy a lot a lot sweets!

- As the novelty of CNY wear off, the graph goes downwards, until you become a rebellious boliao teenager, CNY is just another weird family gathering where you update your relatives about how well (or unwell) you're doing. You just wanna be left alone.

- Then you grow a bit older, and you gonna get married! CNY becomes a bit more exciting cause you get to meet your (and his) relatives as newly weds. Nevermind the angbaos!

- Then you grow older and have kids. CNY suddenly gets more fun because the children are enjoying themselves! (See point 1 about kids and CNY) And somehow you and your husband will wear matching cheongsam (and I dont know what's the guy one)!! Hahahahahahaha.

- As you grow like much much older, CNY becomes the day you can force your kids to go out with you. It becomes a rare family reunion, hence the curve goes up! See all the ahgong ahmas love family gatherings and CNY!

At 12am, it was 6 Feb, my meimei's birthday! Yay 2nd cake of the day.

But actually it's all birthday girl's fault lor. She damn slow and even fell asleep when we were supposed to meet at the downstairs bus stop! TSK!

At this point in time we realised that we're super gluttons we eat TOO FAST!!!! Spend so much on the dinner must eat slower enjoy the ambiance and at least breathe more of the restaurant air (HAHAHA this one I say one) so we ate super slowly for our main course!

OH and also, they took damn long to serve the next dish! I think we eat too fast they couldn't keep up!! :P

Then when I look at the menu I realised that it's EGYPTIAN and not INDIAN!! Hehehehhee but it's very delicious also! But actually I prefer his!

Okay so 14th Feb (what a long post..) I'm sick and miserable and I had to wake up for school. But I got chocolates from my coursemates!! :)

Then all of a sudden I told Weikang "EH I go wash face, v oily". So I walked out to my room HAHA random and Xiuwen suddenly jumped out!! HAHAHAHHAHHAHAHAHA.

She shouted Happy Valentine's Day!!!!! And "It wasnt supposed to be like this!!!!!!" HAHAHAHHAAH! Don't know what it was supposed to be (haven't talk to her shall ask her tomorrow) but I think cause my door was open her plan failed! And also I suddenly walk out so she hurry hide and impromptu shout Happy Valentine's Day! HAHAHAHA ♥♥ And the pink balloon's from her!! Hehe thanks babe!! ♥

I'm feeling extremely sian. I have two essays to write and I've been procrastinating all week. I also happen to have to blog about:

- Amelia's birthday (HAHA sorry Teri) + Preparation
- 2nd Month ♥ (HAHAHAHA 3rd one also coming but I haven't even blog omg)
- CNY Day 1, 2, 3, 4 + sister's birthday
- My brother's enlistment
- Valentine's Day celebration w my baby
- Various outings w him

HAHAHAHAHAHA shit I am so nua Amelia's birthday is 9th Jan we celebrated on the 10th! It's already February the 12!!!

Anyway I'm back to loving nail art HAHA I'm so gay. We had a manicure session at Yirui house on CNY Day 2, with me as the manicurist HAHAHHA.

My watermelon nails. Okay I painted it with the intent of it being strawberry, but I realize that for it to look like a strawberry, I have to dot it with white or yellow dots instead of black. Like this. HAHA.

Anyway I think watermelon easier to paint. First, paint a red coat, next, use green for the skin. For the green, I used my cousin's OPI. I think only OPI has nice green! I've been to so many places just can't find nice green hues!! After that just dot all around with black dots. :D

To make it look like strawberry, just draw it to look like leaves? Actually no need so nice one lor jaggard also can what. And then use white/yellow dots. :D

Just the simple rainbow on Felicia's nails. I think it's simple and nice!! Some of the fingers painted by her boyfriend HAHAHAHHAHA.

Elmo nails on Yirui, the biggest Elmo fan I know!!

First, apply red!! Then use a toothpick (the one w flat end) to get a bit of white nail polish, and "dot" the two elmo eyes. Do the same for the nose, using orange and the flat-end toothpick! The reason why we don't use the brush is cause you'd end up with two huge blobs of white paint, and it takes forever to dry and if you poke it before the inside dries, your marker sure no ink.

Yes, we use permanent marker for the eyes and mouth. Just draw 2 dots on the eyes, then fill in a D for the mouth! Tadah!

My new nails! Vday nails? (Quote Jimama haha)

Anyway it's damn easy. Just paint pink, then after it's completely dry, use permanent marker to draw in the tips. I drew the ones on my left hand and J drew the ones on my right cause very hard to draw!!!!

Also, I use permanent marker HAHAHHAA cause it's damn easy to remove. Xiuwen's idea!! Just put nail polish remover on a cotton and gently "tap" the surface and you'd remove the permanent marker. But that's provided that the nail polish is dry. So it's okay if you make mistakes! But of course can't do it too many times if not some of the nail polish will drop off and you gotta reapply.

Of My 20th Birthday Surprise!

Before I begin the entry, I gotta fill everyone in with some background info! HAHAHAHA.

WARNING: EXTREMELY long entry ahead!

1. On 21st Jan, I went for my Hall's Night Cycling Dry Run (I'm in main comm) and was dead tired cause it started at around 8pm and I reached home only at 9.30am the next day (22nd Jan).

Me, Jianee, Edwin and Soon at 3am, along some random expressway.

Me, Jianee and Shiwei (same birthday!) at some Petrol Station w a small birthday cake the retreat comm got for us!! :D

2. A week before, Teckquan SMSed me to ask me out for dinner on 22nd tgt w Hilsy! He wanted to celebrate my birthday for me cause after he ORD he'd be overseas so it'll be the last birthday I'd celebrate w him. The plan was to go to his friend, a chef's place for FINE DINING.

3. J told me he'd be going to his friend Joel's house for a gathering on 22nd and will not be free to go out w me, so he'd only meet me on Sunday, my actual birthday.

His tweet at 2.30pm on 22nd.

OKAYYYYY so after Night Cycling I was soooo tired I went home and slept like a log. I was supposed to meet Tecky at 5.30pm, but I woke up only at 5pm after a wakeup call from J. I know I'm v bad but I was srsly v tempted to cancel w Tecky and Hils cause I was rly SOOOO tired!! But in the end I still went cause I really miss them!!

So we met at Simei and took Bus 5, passing by Teri's house, (I exclaimed "EH my gf's house!) followed by Amelia's house (which I exclaimed "EH my gf's house! HAHA I a lot gfs hor?" and Teck replied "Nice condo!")

We alighted 2 stops after Amelia's house, and walked for a really long time cause Teck was apparently lost, so he called his Master chef friend and asked for directions. He spoke to the friend w a SLANG lah! Hilsy and I laughed like mad cause it was so funny!

Me: Why you slang?!
Teck: Cause when you speak with an angmoh you gotta slang what.
Me: HAHAHAHAHAHA your friend is ANGMOH AH?! HANDSOME NOT?
Teck: Got belly one.
Me: HAHAHAH really?! How old?! OMG.
Teck: HAHA around 40?

And then we took a bus back to Amelia's condo's bus stop! We WENT INTO the condo and I was like "EH this is your friend's house? You noob! HAHA just now I told you it's my gf's house you still say nice condo but you dont recognise it ah!!!" and Teckquan just laughed. OMG I damn proud right HAHAHAAHA.

Then we walk walk walk walk and suddenly I saw AMELIA!!!!!! In my mind I was thinking "WAH such an coincidence Amelia happened to be downstairs when I'm in her condo!" HAHA so I shouted "AMELIA TAN!! :D:D:D"

What the shit in the end everyone around her looked up with a :O expression THEN I realize that EUNICE was beside her!! Then a few other familiar faces appeared and I totally can't remember who but I was so shocked.

And I haven't admitted this to anyone yet but somewhere in my heart I thought they got gathering never call me !! HAHAHAHAHAH cause at that instant I totally forgot it was gonna be my birthday the next day?

I was damn shocked then Neh came over and hug me and said HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! OMG shock. I can't really describe what I was feeling cause it's just shock. HAHAHAHAHA.

And then I just looked around and I saw my MOTHER. And my BROTHER. And my SISTER and mama's boyfriend!!!! OMG?

OMG I was damn damn damn shocked I couldn't really process what was happening around me. Like 1 hour ago I was at home talking to my brother at home and he said he was going out soon to meet his friends. THEN SUDDENLY HE WAS THERE?!

And my sister told me that I walked past her at the bus stop and I totally didn't see her!!!! (Not because I'm noob okay! I was rly tired!!) And my mother was supposed to be working!!!

And OMG Shaun Djie?!!!! I how long never see him you know!!! SHOCK.

Oh and I thought that was all but SUDDENLY!!!!! (Suddenly ah Suddenly!)

They all came behind me and shouted "SHARON!!!!"

OMG more shock!!! It's like all of a sudden so many faces appeared! My bimbos Selena and Blanche, another bimbo Jasmine Law, and then my cute Sia Song and Kuanzy! Now that I think back it's all a blur not because my memory sucks but because I was totally overwhelmed (in a good way) and all I remember is SHOCK and a lot of laughter and OMGs.

And all along this one guy (and everyone else actually) was looking at me with the :D face while snapping away. I was in total shock and the first thing I asked him was "I THOUGHT YOU GOING JOEL'S HOUSE!!!" Hehehehehhehe. ♥♥♥

And you think that's all right that's not all! This small girl appeared and I was just like "OMG what the shittttttt!!!!!"

MARK JIANEE?! Okay you think I siao right why I so shocked! It's because I was with her from 8pm till 8am (for night cycling) and I totally didn't expect to see her!!! OMG it felt like the whole world was there?!!!

♥ My two cute girlfriends with the present they made! It's so pretty right! And I really totally never suspect a single thing partly because one week ago Teri Yap asked me when I was free to celebrate my birthday and I told her 24th Jan!! I was totally prepared to meet them on Monday lah!!

♥ And this Kuanzy also still go ask me "EH TOAST WHEN YOU FREE?" so I won't get suspicious! HAHAHAHHAHA so smart hor!

My bros!!!!! Oh and Kenneth Tang and the rest of the TP people all had projects and submissions but they still came to celebrate my birthday with me I'm so touched.

Hehehhe and to think before that I was laughing at Teckquan for the slang! The 40 year old angmoh w a belly was actually JOEY!!!!! HAHAAHHAHAHA joke! And I still damn proud say "And you don't recognise the condo?" He was actually trying to drag time!! OOPS paiseh.

I'm 20 now!!!! I feel so old but I don't feel sad or what cause I had an awesome birthday!!!! It involves a really successful surprise planned by my boyfriend ♥, which involves my family and all my close friends!! It's also the most blur and noob I've ever been!!!! I really wanna blog about it now but I don't have the photos + I've been really really busy!

I'm so busy w hall stuff and school I'm overwhelmed. Today's my only free day! Tuesday to Sunday's all filled w meetings and more meetings!! Doesn't help that my results for Sem 1 is really really bad! I'm really tired now but I'm trying to complete my readings for class tomorrow!! :(

Anyway my New Year celebration's divided into 2 parts, one NYE with J, and New Year's Day itself w my girlfriends and their boyfriends! :)

Our initial plan was to go fly kite at East Coast Park - we wanted to fly kite on Christmas but we didn't cause it was raining. On New Year's eve the same thing happened and we postponed it again to don't know when!! :<

In the end we just nua and ate a super filling sumptuous satisfactory dinner at Lagoon!! Hahahaha I can never get sick of stingray and orh lua!!!! ♥

And J brought two light sticks! Hehehe I love those stuff I have a lot of the used ones now hanging on my board, each with a different meaning! :)

I think I'm about 2 days late for my New Year post. I've been really busy enjoying myself!!

2010 has been a really happening year, where I made many life-changing decisions. It's also one of the best years so far. I'm really happy. It's also a year of many firsts. It's such a memorable year I've decided to write a really long post. Also because I'm a bit bored.

Started working at ERA, my first office job!

Had the most awesome colleagues ever! (Not forgetting Gina!)

Bought a DSLR. Most expensive purchase in my life.

Turned 19. Celebrated w Photog4 + bimbs, my family, as well as my girlfriends.

First time attending some CC event w my WHOLE beloved family!!

Got back my lousy results. The Jack and Jill was bought at Art Friend w Xiurong to commemorate our sad day.

Went to my first flea, and became lady boss for half an hour! Sold nothing.

Watched my first play.

Joined NDP 2010 as civilian marchers. One of the life-changing decisions made in 2010.

Formed a KTV gang AHAHAHHA where are you guys!

Attended my first wedding.

First successful picnic w my girlfs. HAHA might seem like nothing to most people but we're lazy so picnic is a big deal!

Went to Siloso Beach for the first time. YES no joke.

Became unemployed (and was damn happy) after working in ERA for 5 months.

Realized time flies and my cousins and I are so old already. (HAHA random)

Became an invigilator.

Went to Perhentian w Selena, Blanche, my mama and her boyf!

Sat on the train for the first time!

I'm glad for everything that has happened, for all the ups and downs, for everyone who played a part, and I'm glad that I don't regret any single decision I made. I fulfilled all my 2010 resolutions, and for 2011, my resolutions are:

1. Be appreciative.
2. Prioritize.
3. Treasure my loved ones.

I hope that even as I'm busy w life, I don't lose sight of what's important. Thank you all for making 2010 a great one. Have an even more awesome year ahead.

I don't celebrate Christmas but I gotta say this year I had one of the best Christmas ever!! :D

On Christmas Eve I went over to my mama's house to have a nice dinner/supper w my family! We ordered pizza and my mum bought a roasted chicken from Cold Storage (which sucked), and we had plenty of green tea!!

It looks soooo good but it's kinda bloody!! But nevermind it gave us some Christmassy feel to our meal don't know why?

My mama's Soup of the Day... MUSHROOM SOUP. HAHAHAHAHHA that's what they call Mushroom soup at Pizza Hut isn't it. The mushroom soup is like the Soup of Everyday.

After supper I spent my night making cheesecake for my boyfriend! Hehehehe.

It was a non-bake cheesecake!! It's not playing cheat hor (ahemKENNETHTANGahem) it's still a cake lor!!! That's what they do at McCafe also what!

And I know why I never make heartshape right? Long story cannot say. The smiley is not deformed! And I know it looks like a joker's smile LOL I'm damn unromantic.

And thank you Nehneh she helped me a lot from helping when buying the ingredients to telling me what to do when I have no weighing scale!! ♥

My mama gave me my present afterwards!

Wrap until so nice!! Then she told me "Oh btw it's useless one". HAHAHAHAHAHA I was like Huh what the what's that man!

Kuanzy and Maple came to visit Sia and I the other day!! Hehehahahha we went to eat nice Hall 14 food for dinner, and Hall 2 Chomp Chomp Milkcurd! I love Hall 2!! And we just chilled and talked and I miss you girls!!!

Shaun Djie came to fetch me for supper/dessert at night since his camp was nearby! Hi bro long time no seeeee! :D:D:D He visited my hall for awhile and we webcammed with Hilsy! Hahahahhahahahah I miss you guys!!

Lab the other day!! It was fun! That's my Chem/Maths friend Xiuwen and Chem friend Josiah (behind me)! The lab apparatus all damn high tech I was seriously fascinated. But argh I haven't do my lab report.

Teri and Eunice came to visit me the other dayyyyyy!!!! Super fun time we had!! ♥♥ We just chilled in my room then went to JP to find Teri's office clothes! Amelia the busy woman joined us for awhile before joining her OG for inline skating! Tskkkk.

Kuanzy and I went to visit Hilsy for Hari Raya that day!! Hehehahaa her house is damn big and damn nice and her mother bakes DAMN well I wanna learn from her!!!! And I think I'd be visiting Hilsy's house again later (impromptu) with Fazli and Dean!! Can't wait! I miss them!!

My roomie falls asleep at her desk everyday and I have to "Blanche" x100 times her before she'd move to her bed.

Hello hello world!!!! I am extremely tired now but my brain is slightly high. :/ :\ :| Just came back from OG outing and dinner over at Woodlands. Omg the west is such a foreign place. Today is the first time I heard the MRT voice thingy say "If you're going to JB, please alight at Marsiling and take the bus blah blah". COOL SHIT!! Hello anyone on to go JB one day?

Anyway somehow a lot people ask me how I settle my meals in hall. Omg I think NTU food is all kinda good!!! (And I think I'd read back and totally go "Wah the food damn sian" after a few months)

Best companion at night - Cup noodles. I just bought Nongshim supervalue pack that day! Happy. I think I wanna bring a mini pot to hostel so I can cook maggie mee! Cup noodles like not as shiok.

Anyway sudden change of topic! I went to Zouk the other day for Jash!!! Omg I was having such a baaaadddd headache I nearly died. After 5 sips of alcohol I turned red (as usual) and my head was pounding like mad.

See my face so red!!!!!! But after that I went to find Fazli (he came to crash!!) and his friend Syazana!! They're v fun and we went to the dance floor to dance!! After that my headache went away and I was sober as hell but I was extremely high!

Omg see the amount of people on the dance floor. I didn't get inside cause I don't really like squeezing and crowds, so I just danced at the side. I think I actually like clubbing omg confession confession. But I won't keep going lah, too leh chey already.

Anyway the night ended at around 2am for us. Alright I guess it was quite a good first clubbing experience for me!!

Had my first two lectures, Physical Chemistry and Limits/Functions yesterday!! I kinda like the Maths lecture... Maybe it's cause the Professor printed the notes for us!! The lecture's all v weird and exciting and I feel like I'm in JC all over again! I made a few new friends!! Happpyyyyyy.

After the lecture I went to meet Xiurong since she's working in NTU for some event !!!! We had lunch and chilled in my room! Hehehehahaha it feels damn good to see her cause I haven't seen her since forever!!!!

Xiurong left like super soon. Not fun one! Hehehaha so I stayed in my room to decorate! I printed 62 photos pro or not :D Oh and I realise that there's 2 photos the photo shop never give me leh! Tskkkkkk.

Hehehehahahaha I like it quite a lot!! Lotsa camwhore photos, narcissistic I know. (And I still love my bed/bedsheet it looks so cosy!?!!!)

Life's been treating me real good I am really contented!! I just moved in to my hostel on Tuesday and I stayed there all the way till Friday!!!

The packing was a torture!! There was soooooo many things to bring! I ended up with a lot a lot of bags!! I brought my bolster along too cause I can't sleep without my bolster so gay I know. >:D

Our room!!!! Really nice and new, just a tad dusty, but we're very very happy with it!!!!

See Blanche is so slow!! I finish wiping my side + swept the floor (of the whole room) + put on bedsheets + unpack and SHE WAS STILL WIPING HER SIDE?!!!

Anyway here's my side of the room!

I love my bedsheets!! ♥♥ The color combi makes the bed look damn inviting omg is this a good or bad thing!!
But the wall's a tad empty later I'd sort out all my photos and print them out to paste!!

Blanche's kiddie toyland!!

This is called the "I very haolian cause I finish packing and Blanche is still wiping?!?!!" face!! Face v red cause sweep floor until damn hot!!

We went out to NTUC and I went crazy buying things! We bought door mat, toiletries basket, 3-in-1 tea, kokocrunch (came with a free spooon wooo!!), internet cable (sad story), foolscap paper, mop, bucket, toothbrush, soap and a lot of nonsense!!

Anyway Blanche stayed only on Tuesday night and I was left on my own for Wednesday and Thursday night, AND I AM LOVIN' IT!!!!!! Wednesday noon I spent it with Mark SHOPPING!!! At night I was with Weijia we had so much fun at the rooftop! Thursday night I went out to town to meet Joey and then I went back and nua-ed. I love life I tell you!!

Anyway the only complain I have about hall life is that NTU IS SO FREAKING FAR FROM THE MRT!!!!!!!!!! But I'm very very happy with the location of my block cause the bus stop's just outside! The toilet is also quite near my room! The pantry too! At night drink water damn convenient and if I want to pee just walk out toilet's there!! And NIE is walking distance!! Canteen is like downstairs!! What's there to complain you tell me!! :D:D:D:D

I was thinking "Alright, just a short entry" but somehow I ended up with around 33 photos, I am the champion!!!!!!!~~ Haha I've been really busy meeting up with different people but somehow I realised that I've stopped taking photos cause I sort of forgot the existence of my camera. I ate the best steamboat the other day and I didn't take photos, can you believe it?

I loveeeeee chilling HAHAHA cause I'm a nua person. So anyway we went to Xiurong's house to roll around in bed and nua and do nothing in general.

So while Amelia and I were having fun talking nonsense, Wong was hard at work! Hehehe she was painting the remaining 2 words "Live" and "Dance" on her wall. The "Laugh" and "Love" we painted in... March? Procrastination at its best :D

Before the day started we all know it'll be a great one because

1) We were back to the 2nd level of the F1 Pit, which meant AIRCON!!! ♥

GOOOOOD FOOOOOD!!!! The egg tart was SOOOO good. And the chicken wasnt nuanua like the previous times! I actually ate 3! Hehehe good food = good day! It's a sign I tell you.

3) We got our NDP Goodie bags!!

Hehehehahaha. We're such aunties! We followed our marshall Lester to the goodie bags place to collect the goodie bags for our contingent. Why are we so helpful? Because then we'd get to choose the ones we want first!!!!!

Sometimes Blanche is quite cute.

But in the end I didn't get the one I want! Sad or sad. And our shoulders ended up aching like hell the next day after carrying those goodie bags! Mine was my left shoulder cause I carried more on my left.

After that we had to march all the way to Padang for the evening's NDP Preview. It was supposed to be kinda important cause instead of marching to (screaming) P5 kids, we'd be marching to adults! Hahahahaha the only thing I was afraid of was that I'd faint again.

After that we proceeded with the usual march in, inspection, blah blah, and then the march out. That night was special because we had our city march!! We had to march quite a distance but because I'm a direction idiot, I don't rly know where we marched!!

But I do know that we marched on this flyover, and we saw that thing in the picture above. (What is it called?)

HAHAHAHHAHA and because we were marching on ROADS, with no cars, it felt so weird and unreal!! So Kuanzy and I started saying things like:

"ARE WE IN A DREAM?"

"HAHAHA soon the buildings will collapse cause you wake up liao"

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA everyone else just ignored us. We really in our own world. HAHAHAHHAHAA.

One photo I tried to tou tou take of us marching but it was so dark and we were moving and it turned out like this!!

Anyway we had to march to this place, I don't know where cause as mentioned, I am a direction idiot, and we just sat there to wait for 20:10, aka 8.10pm, for this One Voice thing, where we recite the pledge together, and then sing the national anthem.

HAHAHAHAHA Glen is a camwhore!! He called me over to help him take the picture!!

Anyway after that we had to go to this Marina Bay Sands shopping place, overlooking the cityscape to take the pledge. It didn't sound so good cause everyone sounded like they're saying their own thing!! Then we sang the national anthem and suddenly...

Fireworks!! See that's a star over there. Supposed to be 5 but ohwell, compact camera, cannot expect too much!!

The fireworks that night was spectacular.

I particularly like this blue one cause it look rly pretty like the universe or some abstract thing LOL.

And this is like stardust!! (LOL at this point I managed to change my ISO so you can't see the ERA flags!)

The fireworks was SOOO much that it looked like the entire sky was painted red!! It was rly vvvv pretty!!!! We were all so amazed and awestruck by the fireworks. Anngee said that the fireworks for the preview was only 75%! I can't wait for the 100% on 9th August!!

Met Kuanzy the other day for some heart-to-heart and ramen!!! ♥♥

Anyway after that Hilsy called us and she came to find us! They just talked about their NUS stuff in general, and whether I should choose Maths or Chemistry.

Haven't been blogging at all because I've been sooooooo extremely busy!! Have been going out everyday to shop, meet up, shop, catch up, march, and so on. Super busy and sometimes I'm so lazy to step out of my house man.

With mummy the other day in some changing room. We were on our way to watch movie! We watched 9 Temples and srsly it's not scary at all. The only part that scare me was the first few minutes. The rest of the story was so boring and draggy omg. Quality of horror movies dropped like hell. :<

Went over to Blanche's to make Selena's present! We made her a planner. Blanche filled in the dates and I drew and wrote all the various messages from her JC and Sec Sch friends. -proud of myself- I even managed to contact her brother ok!!

Met up with Sele and B the next day to shop and to pass Sele her present. HAHA she's reading the Jasmine Law message page int he above pic!! asdasdasdasd

Anyway yesterday was Saturday again and we all met for marching! I love marching even though it's so tiring cause I get to meet my friends!!!! Next time I'd become Civil Defence cause I'm a civil servant HAHAH. (Teachers = civil servant, geddit?)

The color I chose was Blonde from the swatch but cause my hair's black and I didnt want to bleach it, the color that came out's kinda light brown! :D And I'm so tanned!! It's actually lighter in real life but I dyed for 2 days only I dont have much pics. My camera can't rly capture the color too. Sad. More pics soon.

Now that I look at it the blog post is so short but I spent 2 hours on it!!!! Ass.

Anyway our train journey was from 6pm all the way to 8am the next day. 14 hours, beat that! At night it was soooooo cold I nearly died!! But I gotta say it's quite an experience! Cause we had our own beds and it was an overnight train so time passed kinda fast! We also watched a lousy Disney movie called Starstruck.

In the middle of the night the canteen man pushed a trolley around selling gross fried rice that tasted extremely delicious cause we were all so hungry! I felt like some refuge on the way to some freedom. HAHA what nonsense am I saying.

Will blog about Day One after I get the camwhore pictures from Blanche. Not much since all we did was snorkel, and I posted the snorkeling pictures already! Till then, folks.

Oh and I took up the offer. :)

Hi world I'm back from Perhentian!!!! I've selected 30 out of 278 underwater pictures! Hahahaha I photoshopped them a little to bring out the colors cause the camera couldn't exactly capture the colorfulness of the coral reefs. They're damn pretty!!

Photos also include Redang, Marine Park and other snorkelling places around the area! I can't remember where's where!

Boat Trip
We had to sit on the speedboats to get to the different snorkelling destinations. The speedboats are super duper ultra fast and it feels super shiok!!!!!!

There was this part of the sea that was super duper ultra blue!! Very very very nice! The ocean was bluer than the sky! Omg.

Fishes

Mad fishes scrambling for the bread crumbs that we threw.

Nemo!! Photo is extremely grainy cause I had to zooooom a lot!!!! And I'm sooo soooo glad that the photo is not blur cause there was a slight current and I had to steady my hand in the water. This photo is damn tyco that it turned out fine!!

Big blue fish!

This fish is really common but I have no idea what that is.

SEE!! So many of it. I was so boliao I followed 1 of the fishes around. LOL fishes have such lame lifes man. They just keep swimming around and around. So boring after awhile!!!!

This blue fish has such a pretty color!!

海的儿子 (Sons of the sea) feeding the fishes. 海的儿子 is the nickname I gave to those divers that brought us around. They're super duper pro and sooo cool. My idol!! This 海的儿子 also showed us sword fishes, clownfishes and sharks!! And and some clam shell. SUPER NICE!! Thanks 海的儿子!!!! ♥

Don't know what fish this is but it's kinda big compared to the rest of the fishes we saw.

Coral Reefs
Beautiful coral reefs. The corals at Redang are all dead and colorless cause of the amount of tourists I believe. :( But at other places there's really very very pretty corals!! Purple, yellow, pink and orange!!

On a totally different note, I got offered a place in NIE. Upon graduation I'd have to be a bonded teacher. I think I'd take up the offer. Let's hope I don't make a wrong choice. Is it normal to feel hesitant when making such a life-changing decision? Tell me I'm normal please.

Hi world!!!! We're now at Pulau Perhentian!!! Time is running out on my internet cafe thing and I dont know what to type but I just want to type something. Blanche is puzzled.

We went to Redang today and it was a really nice but extremely crowded place. I love the sea and I took a lot a lot of pictures. In some pics the sea blue-er than the sky!!! So exciting right and sitting on the speedboat is damn shiok I tell you!!!!! And feeding the fishes! We bought 2 loaves of bread to feed the fishes tomorrow! I hope my fingers don't get bitten off!!

Oh oh and the sea people are so damn cool.

Okay I have nothing to say now. Will blog the pictures soon I am so excited!! Thank inventors for Underwater Cameras!!!! :D:D:D

DIY: Distressed Denim Shorts

Because DIY is fun and sharing is good, let's all learn how to make distressed denim shorts, my new favourite!! :D:D (And because unemployment is making me bored)

Materials:
- Denim shorts that you are bored of wearing
- OR a pair of denim jeans that you no longer want!
- Scissors
- Pen knife
- Sharp objects

1. Hem
Cut the hem away because it gets in the way. We need frayed ends! :D

Open up the scissors and use the sharp side to do this. Just keep "grinding" the scissors on the edge of the shorts to get the frayed look. Try pulling out some threads.

2. Holes in Jeans, yo
To make holes in jeans, there's several methods, including the most straightforward - Use a scissors to cut a hole. But it's not so pretty! So here's other suggestions.

Position your scissors as seen in picture and keep griding the scissors on jeans. I didn't bother putting anything in between to seperate the 2 pieces of cloth because I don't mind having another hole at the back.

End products:

This is the same thing, just lined up side by side. When I wear I usually fold in the pocket so all you see is my bare skin woo sexy.

You can also use a penknife to slash through but..

The results is a clean slash instead of a more rugged look with threads coming out, which I don't like. But it saves a hell lot of effort and time! :D

3. More Distressing!
To make it even more distressed without making it too holey, let's destroy the cloth.

I used the sharp edge of thingy in nail clipper.

Here's the end product. Not really obvious but it didn't create so much of a hole.

4. End Product

I'm currently sitting at home waiting for Selena to finish whatever she is doing. She really is taking such a looooooong time. 2 hours already I'm so bored at home. For once I'm early HAHAAHAHAAHAH.

Anyway, the other day I went to this place to shoot. The kids there are soooo extremely cute and I love this set of pictures a lot! I didn't even need to edit them! Kids have the nicest smiles.

I'm not gonna write a long paragraph on how cute kids are, because I'm pretty sure the photos speak for themselves. I'm not gonna write how much I enjoyed myself and how much I like kids hehe cause I don't know how many times I repeated that already. But I really really love their innocence, and how they ask the weirdest of all questions (One boy asked, "Are you Miss Hilma's family?"). I also love how they don't bear grudges at all. (One conflict was resolved by a game of catching! HAHA)

One of the most wonderful thing I experienced was when a girl came up to me and asked, "Teacher, you got see before heartshapes?" Then she proceeded to hold my hand and brought me to the corner of the field.

Sometimes you find love in unexpected places.

Went to Jalan Besar Stadium on Thursday for the Soccer Finals! MJC vs SAJC!! We won with a score of 2-1! Yay proud of you Meridian!!!!

We wore our uniforms/ PE T-shirt hehe. OMG I miss school I miss my friends and I miss all the cheering and shitz. I miss taking photos for soccer!!!

Anyway, I forgot to mention this.. I nearly fainted at Marching last Saturday!!
We were standing at attention for around 30 minutes, with a 2.2m flag. Everyone was exhausted and apparently I was the most exhausted cause I nearly fainted.

At first all I felt was ache in my upper body. After that I saw purple and green stars forming. I kinda panicked, and tried to move my legs, but it was weak and numb. Then my vision turned white, with some black spots. I felt damn faint and I was so scared. I raised my hands (but according to Kuan I grabbed her), and then the sergeant immediately came to hold me (thank goodness if not I think I'd faint), and brought me to the side to rest. I couldnt see anything at that point in time and Wongsie told me later that I was just looking straight with a blank look in my eyes. Super scary!!!

While I was resting my vision sort of came back, but my hands and feet were super numb and I felt extremely cold. The medics took my temperature and it was only 35.9^oC, which is quite low for such a hot day. In the end they sent me on a jeep (?) to the medical centre. LOL I was sooooooo scared!! I now have a phobia for Saturday Marching already. :(

Went Haji the other day with Kuanz and SWJ hehehhahahaha. Supposed to go Teoheng at night but we were all sick so we cancelled. Karaoke soon okay!!!!!!

We went to Pluck for some really good icecream! The Dark Chocolate one is super oishi. But the best is the Rum & Raisin one!!!!!! But I am such a noob my face turned completely RED after eating the Rum & Raisin, like wtf? Then we went to Two Minutes at Laselle for lunch.

The pizza is rly good! But the pasta's rly vvvv bad and salty man. We didnt finish all our respective pastas. How disappointing.

Met the 2 monsters at night to for snow ice. Super nice. Nothing much, just pics.

Anyway the next day we went to Kbox with Edmund. HAHAHAHHAHAHAHA I just find it v funny that we went out with Edmund.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAH this group of mats came to us and asked, "EH WHAT'S YOUR AGE AH?" Turns out they wanted to shisha but they're underaged. WTF sia I just kept laughing and laughing non-stop while Sele went on to explain that we didnt bring IC.

The play:

I took only 2 pics cause I was very engrossed! The play's called All The Crazy People and their acting was (Y)(Y)(Y) OMG one guy even cried so pro.

AND LOL same day but different clothes cause I gay.

That's all. Unemployment is good but not sustainable. I need to find a new job. Speaking of jobs, I'm gonna work at some KPOP Singing Competition on Sunday at Novena HAHAHHAHA how exciting I know right.

The other day Wongs and I responded to a newspaper ad and went for this interview apparently at Eunos. The newspaper said the job is Project based and with Flexible hours. $800 for 2 weeks. When it sounds too good to be true it probably IS too good to be true. Turns out when we reached there it was some Venture Era shit.

So this is the conversation with this ultra uncivilized and uncouth guy. How he survive in the Network Marketing world and sell things I do not know cause he has absolutely no charm and no charisma whatsoever. When he talk he keep shaking the table wtf?

Guy: So there's this orientation later, and can you go?
Me: Actually is this network marketing.
Guy: Errr erm, yeah.
Xr: Actually if it is then we are not rly interested since we're looking for a per hour basis job.
Guy: Oh. But you can go for the orientation..
Xr: Oh we have something on later.
Guy: -buaysong- OH so you mean that if it's a PER HOUR basis job and there's an orientation, YOU WONT GO TOO?

Wth the guy damn bloody idiotic try to use sarcasm on us right. So I just stared at him and told him, "Actually, we're just NOT interested in network marketing. Thank you" then we both stood up and left. Hehehhe pwned.

Attended Dajie's wedding on Labour Day. I brought my camera along to shoot since weddings are rly beautiful! And can you believe it! This is the first wedding dinner I've attended! First tea ceremony and second church wedding. Suaku is me!

Also edited another set for this. The normal one with just some adjustments in the lighting. I think I like that set more, but since I've alrdy edited this might as well post. Here's the link: here

LOL if you noticed I have a lot of pictures for the church wedding in the afternoon and so little for tea ceremony and dinner. That's cause I was so damn shy ttm okay LOL. And for the dinner I was just tired. Hehe many thanks to my awesome relatives for all the encouragement. OMG imagine if they didnt keep on calling me to "GO TAKE LAH! GO GO GO", I wouldn't have these photos and I'd most probably be regretting like hell!! ♥

On a different note, I AM UNEMPLOYED!! HOORAY!!! I will seriously miss my colleagues because contrary to what Gina believes, I don't think that place's hell hehe. And also my colleagues gave me farewell gifts so sweet right!! ♥

Now I'm just gonna enjoy unemployment.
